Ever wondered what the royal’s get up to behind the curtain?
While everyone celebrated the royal wedding we managed to get a sneak peek into the after party and released a dastardly animation revealing the naughty antics of the family’s wedding reception.
All of our animators focused on a different character and using different styles, created this mischievous, NSFW concoction of disobedience and debauchery.
So keep calm and watch it here.
She is the Dancing Queen, old and sweet, only 92.
We thought we’d have some fun with Liz 2’s birthday this year and create our very own dancing queen for all our lovely social media followers. Its ABBA meets Fresh Prince and we couldn’t be happier. Some might say we’re “having the time of our lives”.

Ever wondered what our process is? Or what goes into making a mixed media animation?
Our Pringles project was a mixed media explosion. We used live action, stop motion, cel, 3D and 2D animation and blended them into what became our Pringles campaign.
We collaborated with skilled food experts; hand picking individual pieces of corn, amazing actors, location scouts, and the wonderful live action team in South Africa.
We then brought everything back into our bakery to blend all the ingredients together using cel, 2D and 3D animation and cooked it to perfection.
Here’s a peak into how we do it.
In the spirit of Easter and April Fools aligning this year, we thought we would create a weird and wonderful animation for Instagram. We love to engage with our social audience and we thought this time that we would try a new tactic.
To bring Cookie Studio to life we decided to use the swipe feature to our advantage and created an interactive, continuous storyline for our easter egg to take.
See what we came up with here.
When Boys and Girls approached us with the second in a series of 3D worlds for Fitbit, we were tasked with creating a magical, enchanted secret garden for Mother’s Day. We wanted to evoke the beauty of spring whilst incorporating sports and fitness to appeal to the Mother’s day consumer.
The sports we chose attract young mums, but not only that. They are about endurance, strength and commitment. These are all qualities we see in mothers and that is part of what we are celebrating on Mother’s Day.

For each film we were tasked with re-imagining, designing and animating the ‘epiphany moments’; the fantastical worlds our heroes become immersed in when taking a single bite of the flavours. We were encouraged to explore bold and quirky avenues for the animations, and as massive fans of mixed media, we couldn’t be happier. We worked closely with our friend, live-action director Chris Strong from Dark Energy Films and Matt Watson from DigitasLBi, to come up with these surreal worlds.
The result is six fantastical and funny films with distinctly different animations for each epiphany moment, transporting the viewers into the world of Pringles flavours. Watch here.
To contribute to our continued brand development we create Cookie idents. All individual. All with there own distinct style.
We thought we’d mix things up and create this energetic ident, animated frame by frame. The style perfectly encompasses our vivid brand. See more of our work here.
We’ve been creating some really exciting work that we’re proud to say is getting an amazing response.
We were delighted that some of our projects from 2017, such as our Fitbit Christmas campaign, have been picked up on platforms all over the world to an extremely positive reception. This reaction compels us to work harder and to create even more delicious animations.

We were tasked with creating 32 unique animations on a very tight schedule, but here at Cookie, we relish a challenge so we happily obliged.
Each animation was individually designed and animated with a unique personality and distinct ingredients to complement the humour of the content and catch the eye of the audience.

After the initial brief, we created a 3D wonderland filled to the brim with winter activities and Christmas decorations.
It blends their stills campaign perfectly with our own Cookie ingredients creating the perfect arena for our specially created 3D models of their Fitbit watches to be displayed. This is the first in a series of exciting campaigns so watch this space.

After a successful first campaign with Iceland Bingo, they came back for more and we were happy to oblige. We joined forces with the fantastic Black Spark Media to provide a full digital rebrand and marketing campaign paired with a brand spanking new TVC.
For the rebrand of the website, promotions and all social assets, we reinvigorated the brand with a vibrant new look. We integrated eye-catching colours with original 3D bingo designs to achieve a distinct identity and continuity across all brand platforms.
We also had the opportunity to direct and produce the new live-action TVC mixed with delicious 3D animation, bringing to life the look of the brand.

Mr Cookie had so much Christmas spirit this year that he just couldn’t resist getting stuck in.
We created this illustration to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with some signature Cookie Studio flavour.
